North America, Eastern United States, Massachusetts, Charlestown, ca. mid to late 19th century CE. A fine example of a Badger's Emerson's elastic razor strap with a wooden handle and a leather strap that is padded on one side and flush with the strap body on the opposite side. The razor strap is accompanied by its original cardstock case that features an instruction panel on the curved obverse face and an informative panel about the previous owner of Badger's Emerson's elastic razor straps: Benjamin Badger, and his predecessor and son, Benjamin F. Badger. Size (w/ case): 13.4" L x 1.6" W (34 cm x 4.1 cm)

Condition
Abrasions and wear to paper exterior of case as well as leather strop, with light staining to both informational panels, otherwise intact and very good. Text on informative panels is still legible, and nice patina to wooden handle and leather strop.
