The Peking glass carved into a circular form, correspondence dome lid and there is a tongue at the outer rims for fitting the lid, raised on short foot base. The body carved with imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. Yellow is an imperial color in Chinese Dynasty color symbolism, representing power, royalty, prosperity and the earth in traditional Chinese culture.The Under-base bears a reign mark, carved four embossed script characters reign mark. Made in The Years JiaQing Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
