VERY RARE ANTIQUE RUSSIAN SILVER and ENAMEL TABLE SPOON for CHILDREN
Russia, Imperial Period, St. Petersburg, ca. late 19th century CE.
Beautiful gilt silver and enamel large spoon.
It has a rounded finial tip with a blue enamel motif, and a twisted handle that tapers to the neck and round bowl.
The backside is also adorned with cloisonne in blue, green, and shimmering red - and a slightly recessed square is set in the center.
On the neck are the assay marks 'BK' in Cyrillic for Vasily Kangin (1908-1917) and the silver purity and '84' for silver content.
LARGE SIZE: 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm). Weight: 36 grams.
