Enamel dial, brass finial, églomisé panel to tablet and case door, the door with panel depicting tableau surrounding naval battle scene, Patriotic eagle and shield to center, the bottom inscribed, "Patent/ Victory of the Peacock over the L'Epervier/ Capt. Warrington," the interior case door bearing printed label for Joseph Mathias, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the interior retaining label for David Stockwell.
