North America, Mexico, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A set of 4 wearable bracelets, 2 made from sterling silver and the other 2 from nickel-silver. The first bracelet is made from 92.5% sterling silver and is set with 3 polished onyx cabochons. The second bracelet is formed from 94.5% sterling silver and features a scrollwork design brought forth with inlaid turquoise chips. The first nickel-silver bracelet bears a floral motif with 15 inlaid turquoise stones, and the larger nickel-silver bracelet features etched motifs along the bands and a faceted carnelian in the center. Size of largest (onyx bracelet): 2.375" W x 2.2" H (6 cm x 5.6 cm); (onyx stones): 0.48" L x 0.35" W (1.2 cm x 0.9 cm); sterling silver quality: 92.5% for onyx bracelet and 94.5% for turquoise chip bracelet; weight of both silver bracelets: 38.2 grams
