Lot of four. 1) 1906. Good Manhattan Strike. Postcard is a black and white birds eye view of main street. Stamped 'Compliments of McElvaney & Torpey, Brokers' with Rounsevell as photographer. McElvaney (stockbroker, his 10-year-old son was killed in an accidental shooting by another boy one month earlier). Torpey (put forward a proposal for a cable road (RR) to Manhattan from the nearest SP station). Rounsevell (built Jake's saloon, many iconic Manhattan and Rawhide photographs are his). 2) Millett postmark. R-4. Excellent strike. 1909. Early No Address on Back card of Erie St., Manhattan, Nev. Black & white horses puling a loaded agon. Unique and historical. 3-4) Two early black and white postcards of the town of Millett and the ranch.
