In addition to many bird's-eye views, there are also views of: Southern Pacific depot; cave springs; Hotel Weed; Hotel Upper Soda Springs; Sacramento River; state highway bridge; and a street scene with wagons. Duplication. Dunsmuir is located in Siskiyou County, California, founded by the Central Pacific Railroad in the 1880s. The official city slogan is "Home of the best water on Earth".
