AMERICAN GOTHIC CAST-IRON PAIR OF GARDEN CHAIRS / SEATS, wingback form cast in five sections, square quatrefoil-in-diamond backs, rolled arms, and pierced seats. No manufacture's marking located. Possibly Israel P. Morris of Philadelphia or James Kirkland & Co., New York. Second half 19th century. 34 1/4" HOA, 26" W, 17 1/2" H seat, 16 3/4" D seat.
Provenance: From the private collection of Sarah Donnelly, Esmont, VA.
