A. GEROULD BRASS AND STEEL FIGURAL SEWING BIRD CLAMPS, LOT OF TWO, each with a brass bird, one example with a brass clamp and remaining with a steel clamp, each embossed to the underside of tail marked "A. GEROULD & CO PATENT", clamp nut with a heart finial. Each retains collection number sticker and detailed collection card. Third quarter 19th century. 4 1/2" HOA.

Very good overall condition, each with expected wear, each lacking pincushion to underside of beak, one example lacking the top post of the clamp nut.
