EDWARDIAN ENGLISH FIGURAL ANIMAL STERLING SILVER SEWING PINCUSHIONS, LOT OF THREE, each by a Birmingham maker having a sterling figural base with pincushion to back, comprising a pig by Cornelius Desormeaux Sanders & James Francis Hollings Shepherd with 1905 date mark, a frog by Adie & Lovekin, Ltd. with 1909 date mark, and a swan with mark possibly for Britton, Gould & Co. and a 1906 date mark. Each with maker's mark and three hallmarks of a lion passant for sterling fineness, an anchor city mark for Birmingham, and a date mark. Each retains collection number sticker and detailed collection card. Early 20th century. 7/8" to 1 1/2" HOA.

Very good overall condition with wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including slight bending, one or a few minor dents, nicks, and/or worn spots to raised decoration; frog and swan with replaced velvet cushions; pig and frog with possible repairs to one or more legs.
