Description
AMERICAN STERLING AND OTHER SILVER-PLATED SEWING KITS, LOT OF TWO, each having a three-reel thread holder to interior, comprising a pill-form sterling example by Theodore W. Foster & Bro. of Providence, RI with gilt interior and engraved "MVRL" initials, and a silver-plated example with engine-turned engraved exterior including a Continental 0.935 silver thimble. One kit with "STERLING" and maker's mark, thimble with "935" mark. Total weight of sterling kit and thimble: 0.620 ozt. Each retains collection number sticker and detailed collection card. 20th century. 2 1/4" and 3 1/8" LOA.

Condition
