Description

Carved Wood American Folk Art Sculpture,Weight Lifter. Wonderful large and colorful sculpture is made of carved wood with polychrome decoration. Dark haired weightlifter wears a headband, workout clothes and black Chuck Taylor Converse sneakers on a bench complete with wooden barbells and weights. Raised eyebrows and pursed mouth are an indication of the effort involved. Created in the early 1980's by New England outsider artist Robert Wincuinas after his friend named Rocky.

Dimensions are 37.5 in h x 20 in w x 41 in d for the bench and 37 in h x 11 in w x 29 in d for the weight lifter. Condition is very good with minor surface wear, a couple of small paint loss spots, some discoloration. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
