mostly 19th century, including: an oval, chest, and book form tin box, each with remnants of paint decoration; one shield form in rosewood with light and dark wood inlays; turned wood box with light and dark inlay to lid and painted child portrait to interior; (2) carved book form boxes; a carved Lion of Lucerne rectangular burlwood box; (2) rectangular wood boxes; cylindrical box with silver metal mounts; (2) shell boxes, largest in rectangular form with raised gilt monogram, the smaller a round box with inlaid designs; Wedgwood Ulysses and the Chariot jasperware heart shaped trinket box, stamped to underside; a polished agate stone and white metal box; a light wood Niagara Falls transfer souvenir box.
