The formal handled jug with brown transferware design and glazed in tri-color, features a serene nautical cityscape to body with sailboats and harbor at sunset; this pattern I cannot identify but has similar motifs (including rampant lion and heraldic shields) to Doulton's 'Tournament' line produced at the beginning of the 20th century, England, with associated manufacturer's markings to bottom. Approx. 7" H x 8" W. Condition; good with mild expected wear commensurate with age and crazing to glaze, no chips or cracks.
