Description
Includes three framed original 19th century chromolithographic prints on heavy wove paper, including "Partridge Cochins", "Silver Spangled Hamburghs", and "Coloured Dorking"; taken from the Poultry Book by W.B. Tegetmeir, with illustrations drawn from life by Harrison Weir, re-published by George Routledge & Sons, New York and London, 1867 (first printed in 1853). Each print housed in a sleek vintage gold and silver gilt frame with matting, the outer margins (with titles) hidden with an approximate 8" x 6" sight size. Condition; altogether good for age, the prints clean with bold original coloring. Total frame size to each 13" x 15.5".
