This is a lift-front country store counter tin advertising Honest Scrap tobacco. It has graphics on three of the four sides, the front graphic showing the iconic dog and cat with the Honest Scrap tobacco in the middle, "Honest Scrap" written on the lid and on both sides. There are some areas of paint loss, primarily to the edges. There is one significant quarter-sized chip in the upper part. The edges show oxidation and surface rust. The inside is solid, with no breaks or cracks. It has the original knob to the lid. The front graphic of the dog and cat shows great color, with just some rubs in the upper left-hand corner and the upper right-hand corner. A very good example of this country store tobacco tin.
