Scarce Outstanding Condition WWI US Army Generals Full Dress Cap. Made by "Pettibone Bros. Mfg. Co. Cincinnati" This is the nicest and cleanest example you could buy. Bullion (Scrambled Eggs) on both the visor and the banding are top quality. The hat stands as well as the day it was made. Not a moth hole or spot can be found!! There is no better cap. There are illegible initials on the underside front of the leather sweatband. Condition: Sweatband threads have slightly unraveled in various spots and very minor visor rim scuffs, one deeper than the rest.
