French automaton doll and bird by Etienne Denamur, circa 1880. The bisque head doll fully performs a magic trick with egg laying bird and comb playing music box. Bisque head with glass eyes and earrings marked E/D at base of neck. Costume with hat vest and skirt in good condition. Table with turned wood post and table with applied fabric and lace. The rectangular base with red velvet with areas of wear at edge. Turned wood feet, winder and start/stop at rear. Good condition, accompanied by a record outlining conservation.
