Condition
Visual of each: The canvas slightly loose. Surface crazing throughout, with attendant, occasional, approximately pea-sized pigment losses. Surface dirt, grime and varnish discoloration commensurate with age. Stretcher bar creases and frame abrasions along all four edges. "Hers" with a dime-sized pressure mark and attendant pigment loss near the lower left corner.
Blacklight of each: No evidence of restoration under blacklight except possible touch-ups along the delicate line between the woman's lips. Difficult to read under heavy varnish.
Frame of each: 48" H x 41" W x 2.5" D approximately
