WWII Bring-Back P-38 Semi-Automatic Pistol, by Mauser (byf-44), with bring-back document, #2490y, 9mm, 5'' barrel, blue finish, brown phenolic resin grips, in original holster, with one magazine. Includes 1945 dated bring-back paper numbered to pistol. Condition is excellent with light high edgewear and minior thinning at muzzle. Grips are excellent. Action is crisp, bore is mirror bright, with vivid white and red paint in safety area. Holster with light general overall wear; lower half of securing strap is missing. Veteran has added GI-style leg tie to bottom of holster. A nice original rig brought back from the European Theater in late 1945 by our consignor's father.
