Description
DESCRIPTION: Hans Kieweg Art Nouveau figural porcelain vanity mirror for Fraureuth. This rectangular vertical vanity mirror is decorated with an Art Nouveau ceramic female figure, a large tray in front of the mirror is decorated with an organic leaf pattern and a large flower motif. Designed and sculpted by German potter Hans Kieweg for the Porzellanfabrik Fraureuth Porcelain company. Hans Kieweg was the staff artist for Fraureuth which had one of the highest standard porcelain factories in turn of the century Germany. Signed "H. Kieweg" along the side.
CIRCA: 1910-1919.
ORIGIN: Germany.
