Description
The lid is a raised rhomboid shape with sloping sides. The box mouth and lid mouth have flanges that fit together. The base has been lacquered but has worn spots showing a light colored wood. It is a slab construction with small round nails holding it together. The interior of the lid and box are also lacquered. The interior smells of smoke and candle wax. It may have once held candles.
