Dm. mouth 3.4 cm.On the front of this perfume oil container, Boreas, the personification of the north wind, strides to right. On the back, an owl on a large rosette, its body turned to left, its face depicted frontally. Small rosettes as filling ornaments. Line and dot friezes on the plate-mouth, tongue frieze on the neck; at the bottom a rosette and ring. Added red enlivens the figures. Almost complete, reassembled, restorations above the head and next to the right hand of Boreas.Formerly priv. coll Basel, 1990s.
