Description

A beautiful presentation, the colorful printed award document for the Spanish Medal for the Campaign of 1936-1939, 1p. sm. folio, Burgos, May 4, 1939, giving the medal to German Capt. Arnold Kwin[?]. The document is matted in gold with the recipient's medal with ribbon fixed to the mat, the entirety set into a wood shadowbox. Very fine condition. The medal was established in 1937 and awarded to those who fought on the Nationalist side during the Spanish Civil War.
