Description

The exterior is painted with a black and gilt bamboo design on a reddish-brown ground, with chased brass hardware on the lid and corners, and locking plates/handles on each side. The interior is black lacquer. 23 1/2" (L) x 16 1/2" (W) x 13 1/2" (H). Condition: There is a surface crack on the top of lid; wear/scratching to outside surface and gilt; a crack extends along the length of bottom; loose/detached lacquered wood strips.
