English, late 19th century. Victorian-era dome-form brass and bone bound burl walnut veneered tea caddy, having double compartments and etched foliate strapwork. Unmarked. Provenance: From the Estate of a prominent Atlanta businessman. Approx. h. 6.25", w. 9", d. 5".
Condition
Ends of central brass mount are loose with cracks to bone; some leaf-form elements to mounts not present; key is present but lock is not operational; wear to interior of compartments; minor wear to veneer and finish.
