English, 19th century., Selection of four mahogany and mahogany veneered boxes comprising: a large box with double handles; a brass bound lap desk; and two double compartment tea caddies. The largest with lock stamped "WR" and "Barrons Patent" for William IV and Robert Barron (London). Approx. of the largest, h. 11.25", w. 17.75", d. 13.5".

Condition

Cracks to largest with dents and wear to finish - key is present; one tea caddy missing inner canisters, the other with wear to finish and damage - no keys; lap desk missing writing surface with damage to interior and exterior - no keys.
