Description
Newell Harding (American / Boston 1796-1862), circa 1851, three piece coin silver presentation ewer and two goblets with repoussed and chased floral and foliate decoration. Each having a Rococo style cartouche; goblets with monograms and inscription to pitcher "Presented to Capt. Putnam Bradlee by The New England Guards, Boston Nov. 6th 1851" Maker's marks to foot of goblets and side of ewer. Approx. h. 15.75" (pitcher), h. 5.75" (goblets), total weight 44.19 ozt Ahlers & Ogletree, Inc. reserves the right to require payment for this Lot via secured funds such as wire transfer and/or certified check.
Condition
Very few scattered scratches and dings, slightly bent foot to ewer.
