This is an antique silverplated bride's basket manufactured by the Wilcox Silverplate co of Meriden, Connecticut in the 19th century. The Victorian basket is decorated with a stunning Victorian motif with a figural cherub at the center of the base. The top of the basket rim is decorated with cherubs, urns, flowers, dragonflies, and ferns.
Dimensions: Measures 15" to the top of the handle and 9" to the top of the basket. The basket top is 10 x 10 3/4".

In overall fair/good condition and is in need of restoration. As pictured, three of the four feet where it meets the underside of the basket portion are detached and will need to be repaired. There are minor surface scratches and abrasions to the finish. There are some dings to the ball feel. This condition is consistent with age and use.
