Arthur Hacker,England, Spain,1858-1919
Depicts a woman with light brown hair and brown eyes, a soft oval face, and defined cupids bow dressed in white against a dark background. Hacker studied at the Royal academy and later under portrait painter Leon Bonnat. Hacker later became a founding member of the New English Art Club and was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy.
