A graduate of New York’s School of Visual Arts, Hattori’s interest in art was sparked through graffiti and street art. He paints intuitively, drawing on his own visions and dreams to create fantastical worlds that beckon viewers. The psychedelic figures which take center stage in Hattori’s paintings often blur the line between humans, animals, and monsters, resembling creatures one might find in a fairytale.
