Continental Mahogany and Kingwood Bureau Cylindre

19th century, the rectangular top quarter-veneered and with inlaid ribbon banding and lattice-patterned inlays, within a three-quarter pierced brass gallery, above a tambour roll top opening to a pull-out leather-inset writing surface and a variety of drawers and cubbyholes, over a central drawer flanked to either side by two small drawers, raised on tapering square legs ending in gilt bun feet, the whole accented with decorative bandings and inlays.
