Description
Philippe Poitevin (French, 1831-1907). Pair of patinated figural gilt bronze statues. Compositions depicting George Gordon, Lord Byron (1788-1824), English poet, and Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832), Scottish novelist, poet, playwright, and historian. Each stamped to top of base POITEVIN. Larger (Byron) measures 22.25" x 7" x 7". Previously electrified. Smaller (Scott) measures 21.75" x 7" x 7".
