These documents were salvaged by Captain Michel Leroy from Hitler’s bunker in Berlin, where he had secretly entered in November 1945. These archives were found on Martin Bormann’s personal desk. The story of their discovery was the subject of a documentary on the RMC channel in 2019 entitled Fuhrerbunker, the Final Archives and also the subject of a book The Final Archives of the Fuhrerbunker by Paul Villatoux and Xavier Aiolfi published by Memorabilia and which has been translated into three languages.
