A very large and heavy bronze collar or neck torque with incised linear designs and a well handled surface patina. Mongo peoples, Africa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Neck Torque [Bongombwa], likely dates to the 19th Century and measures 9 x 7.5 and is nearly 2 inches thick. The bronze will include a custom display stand. Provenance: The Dr Brian Healy estate, NY.
