The collar is made of solid pink and yellow gold, and has such amazing attention to detail that it even displays the 'holes and peg' portion of the buckle on the collar.
The red and yellow colors of the gold, and fine detail stands out brilliantly against the red and gold bi-color Carnelian Agate.
The collar is marked 'KF' in Cyrillic for KARL FABERGE, and is marked '72' (the Pre-Revolution standard for 18K).

Gustav's sons, Peter Carl and Agathon, and grandsons followed him in running the business until it was nationalized by the Bolsheviks in 1918.
