Description
The lot features a fantastic stone head skull cracker war club from the Northern Plains Native American Indians, dating to the circa 1890. The piece is comprised of horse hide parfleche rawhide, all one piece, with the original horsetail hair end as the drop. This is truly a unique and uncommon covering, all sinew rawhide sewn. The piece is in good overall condition. Measures overall 15.25" L, with an additional 9" L horsehair drop (Total together being approximately 24" L. The head is 2.25" by 2" by 1 5/8").
