Description

Offered is a fabulous Chilmark "Wm. Tecumseh Sherman" Civil War pewter sculpture by renowned sculptor, F.J. Barnum. The figurine is holding binoculars in his right hand with the case slung over his shoulder. Gold colored gilt decorates the binocular eye pieces, uniform buttons, and epaulets. Two rolled and tied documents are at his feet, leaning against a tree stump. This sculpture is in good condition, featuring no noticeable scratches on the solid wood base. Measurements are 10" H x 6" W x 4" D approximately.
