Description
CONTINENTAL SILVER ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a heavy antique, possibly Baccarat, heavy colorless glass inkwell having glass insert and mounted with a French 0.950 silver dome lid and rim by Augustin Lahure of Paris, and a probably German Hanau silver miniature wall sconce with two arms and heraldry decoration. Inkwell with Minerva hallmarks to edge of lid and rim, sconce of unknown silver fineness/metal content with two pseudo hallmarks next to a Dutch tax mark for foreign-made articles. Late 19th/early 20th century. Inkwell 4 7/8" HOA.

Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, worn spots to decoration, and/or small dents; inkwell glass with a few flakes to sides, significant wear to base.
