Description
ASSORTED GERMAN BISQUE-HEAD CHARACTER DOLLS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a Cuno & Otto Dressel example, unmarked socket head, sleepy blue eyes, painted lower and upper eyelashes and slightly raised eyebrows, open mouth with four exposed teeth, jointed composition with maker's stamped mark on buttock, dark brown hair wig with long curls; and a Gebruder Heuback infant baby, socket head impressed with maker's mark between a "76" and "12" over "DEP" / 3 / Germany, dome head with molded hair and painted facial features, composition body. Each fitted in vintage attire and undergarments, Dressel example with later white shoes. First half 20th century. 10" and 20 1/4" HOA.

(Updated 2/22/22) Baby undamaged, Dressel example with a hairline crack to the fore-head side and eyes are detached, each with expected wear, composition with expected minor imperfections.
