Description
NEW ENGLAND PAINT-DECORATED CLOTH LADY DOLL, round-form face with paint decorated facial features and black hair, jointed cotton body with separated fingers, painted surface from head to shoulder. Fitted in period attire, brown dress with red and blue print, black silk trim, ecru shirt, undergarments and leather shoes with red trim. Circa 1840. 27" HOA.

Very good condition, expected wear and minimal paint losses, body with some discoloration. Clothing in good condition, some scattered holes, deterioration, minor stitching repairs and staining.
