Chinese Qing Dynasty Carved Red Cinnabar Carved Jar On Carved Hardwood Stand. The Cinnabar potted in jar shape, globular lower body, close round mouth rim, raised on flat round foot base. The body carved detail of abundant flowers bloom, foliage and interlocking tendril surround the surface. The Cinnabar is smooth to the touch and is free of cracks or damage. Deep red color gives off a waxy sheen as the light dapples across its surface. The Under-base bears poems glit script.
