SST. Sign is Maker Marked Nelke Signs - New York. A very nice example of this very early Embossed Tin Sign from Polarine Motor Oils, showing an excellent Oil Can graphic. CONDITION: Sign shows very good color & gloss throughout the field showing clean lettering as well as a super clean Oil Can graphic. Sign shows some minimal areas of surface scratching as well as some minor areas of paint loss. The paint in the field is very sound but is fragile and could begin to flake if not properly mounted and the Can graphic is in excellent condition and is free of any major wear. The outer edge shows some areas of paint loss in the corners but overall displays excellent. A very nice example of early Tin Polarine Motor Oil Advertising. Condition: (8.0). Dimensions: 20" X 9".
