Description
Mark of Gustav Mollenborg Feron, workmaster Louis Constantin Feron (Swedish, Stockholm), 1868. Karl XV repousse sterling silver footed inkstand, having an armorial coat of arms surmounted by a baron's coronet, decorated with oak leaves and acorns, and with a colorless glass inkwell and shaker with silver lids. Marked appropriately. Catalog Note: This inkstand decorated the living room at the Windcrofte House on Tuxedo Road. Approx. h. 6.25", w. 13.5", d. 12.25"; total approx. weight of the stand and lids of, 17.91 ozt.
