Description
English, 19th century. Edwardian banded, inlaid, and veneered mahogany serpentine-form sideboard in the George III Hepplewhite taste, having a brass gallery rail, stepped back, three drawers flanked by two cellarette drawers, and rising on tapered legs. One locked stamped "ER" for Edward VII, with remains of Army & Navy Store Co-Operative Society Limited paper labels to the back. Catalog Note: This rug decorated the dining room at the Windcrofte House on Tuxedo Road. Approx. h. 58", w. 91", d. 30"

Wear to finish; some inlay/veneer loss; case is structurally sound.
