Connecticut, Rhode Island, 1907
Rhode Island Yacht club trophy with ruffled rim, figural wheat sheath handles, and shapely body. Trophy engraved "R.I.Y.C Class O 1st Prize Won By J. E. Fletcher Jr. Dutchess July 24, 1907. Trophy made by Wallace Brothers of Wallingford, Connecticut. A very cool piece of Rhode Island history.
14" x 12" dia..
From the collection of a Columbia, South Carolina estate.
Bottom marked "Made & Plated by Wallace Bros. Silver Co. 781 Special" on bottom.
Condition
Areas of surface wear and scratches, areas of minor losses to silver plate, otherwise good condition.
