"Paintings", Exhibition Invitation, 1967, die-cut lithograph, published by Leo Castelli Gallery, New York Stella is a leading contemporary artist, famous for saying that "What you see is what you get" in reference to his own works. Stella attended Princeton, studying under William Seitz and Stephen Greene, moving to Manhattan after graduating where he broke into abstract expressionism. His works are in museums throughout the United States including the Whitney Museum of American Arts, The Art Museum at Princeton University, the Smithsonian's National Museum of American Art, and the Guggenheim among others.

Small tear to right edge, some toning, top edge has been laid, frame with light surface wear, light scuffs to glass, otherwise good condition.
