Description
This beautiful Victorian caster is from the Meriden Silver Plate Co. This design with the sparrow handle appears in the 1883 catalog. Bottles appear to be all original with the original stoppers and silver plate lids. The pattern is leaf and berry with a low relief band below with leaves and arches. Stands approx 19.5" tall. Catalog order number on bottom of 3001 along with company logo.
Note that the leaf and arch band is found on a tea set in the same catalog, however it does not appear on the advertised casters in the catalog. Catalog pattern is no. 3002
