Circa 1930
The Art Deco Chardon (French for thistle) vase with highly stylized acid cut 'thistle' among billowy depiction of upward rising tendrils in layered glass of purple cameo relief against internally decorated blue ground, created by the French firm Le Verre Francais under the direction of Charles Schneider, incised signature to the base along with sand blasted block letter stencil mark FRANCE on the base edge.
Measures 4 x 9.25 inches.
