Condition
Normal wear commensurate with age and use to frames, with minor occasional rubbing and scuffing; overall show well; each with slightly different turned "barley twist" stiles than the other, one chair's stiles turned more tightly than the other; one chair (with less tightly turned stiles): repaired break midway on front left-facing stile with retouching evident, seam and/or break to front right-facing stile at the bottom, both stiles with rod reinforcement to back rest frame, front left-facing leg with repaired split, some glue reinforcements to joints evident, repaired splits and nail reinforcements to interior moldings along back of back rest; other chair (with tightly turned stiles): back of back rest with some age splits to surface, apparently repaired; both chairs nicely upholstered in near pristine velvet, showing only minor dust occasional accumulation
